Note: As of January 19, 2020, only Samsung devices running an up to date version of Android are able to connect to the Office 365 system using modern authentication. If you are using an Android device and are experiencing authentication errors on Android Mail, you will need to download the free Outlook app from the Play Store in order to connect to Office365. These instructions are for use with Office 365 accounts. If your phone does not have the Office 365 Account option, these instructions may not work and you will need to download the Outlook app from the link above. Android Locate and open the Android Mail app. (The app is labeled "Mail") Select Office365 In the username and password field, use the following: Students - NetID@vols.utk.edu and password Staff/Faculty - NetID@utk.edu and password If prompted, select "Work or school account". Complete the Duo authentication process to complete the setup. If this configuration doesn't work or if you don't have the Office365 option, you will need to download the free Outlook app from the Play Store in order to connect to Office365.
