If you want to activate Malwarebytes on a different computer, close the message and log in to your Malwarebytes account on the computer you want to activate. The login page is https://my.malwarebytes.com/en/login/ Before you install and activate Malwarebytes, it is important to note that only one computer at a time may be activated with this license, and your license will expire after one year. This does not mean you only get to use Malwarebytes for one year. You will simply have to reactivate Malwarebytes with a new license key after one year. To install Malwarebytes, click the green Download button on your account page. This button might be covered up by a message saying “You can secure another device by sharing your license.” Click Don’t show again to close the message and reveal the green Download button. Once the Malwarebytes installer finishes downloading, run it and follow the instructions to install Malwarebytes on your computer. Open Malwarebytes once the install finishes. You will be asked what kind of computer this is, a work or personal machine. Select the appropriate option and continue. Next, you will be asked whether you want to use the free version of Malwarebytes or the premium one. Select Premium. A text box should appear asking for a license key. Go back to your browser and click the blue Activate button on your account page to activate your premium license on your computer. Malwarebytes should open its home page, and is now ready to use. From now on, it will automatically launch when you start up your computer and run in the background. Scans will routinely run in the background by default. Need more help?
