You can access the voicemail system in two ways, by phone and online. Follow the instructions below to listen to your voicemail. If you do not know your voicemail password, send email to firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance. Did you know that the voicemail system can email your voicemail messages? Contact us at email@example.com to set up this feature. Accessing your voicemail by phone Call 865-946-3600 (off-campus) or 6-3600 (on-campus). Enter your 5-digit phone number, then #. Enter your password, followed by #. To listen to your messages, select ‘3’ and follow the prompts to listen to your messages. Accessing your voicemail online Go to access.utk.edu and log in with your NetID and password. Select Xpressions Web Assistant. Enter your credentials: User/Mailbox ID): Your 5-digit phone number Password/PIN: Your voicemail password To listen to your messages Select Mail Client from the menu on the left. Choose Inbox to listen to your messages. To forward your office phone to your voicemail: Select Personal settings from the menu on the left. Choose Voice mail system Scroll through the options to Forward incoming calls Select Forward to this number and enter 63600. Save your changes. To turn off mail forwarding, choose the Forwarding Off option and save your changes. Changing your voicemail greeting Types of greetings: Busy Greeting plays for all callers if your line is busy Internal No Answer plays for all internal callers if you do not answer the phone External No Answer plays for all external callers if you do not answer the phone After Hours Greeting plays for all callers after 5pm Alternate Greeting * plays for all callers and overrides all other greetings *use this greeting if you only want to record 1 greeting Login into Xpressions. From your office extension dial 6-3600; from your cell phone dial 865-946-3600. Enter your 5 digit office extension and press #. Enter your voicemail password and press #.
